On October 22, 2008, amendments to the Fuel Tax Act and Tobacco Tax Act were proposed in The Budget Measures and Interim Appropriation Act, 2008 (No.2) that was introduced in the Ontario legislature following the delivery of the 2008 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review.
