  Information Bulletin 6490 - How the GAINS program works. The GAINS program provides a monthly supplement to qualifying Ontario seniors who receive the federal OAS/GIS.

  The GAINS Rate Tables provide a ready reference of OAS/GIS/GAINS payments at specified levels of private income, depending on a senior's status e.g. single or couple. The tables are updated quarterly and posted to the Internet the first week of January, April, July and October.
