Client Accounts & Services Branch
The Client Accounts and Services Branch (CASB) was established in May of 2006. CASB is responsible for activities related to client accounts and service. The branch's mandate is to encourage voluntary compliance and enable clients to fully comply with, and participate in, tax and benefit programs administered by the Tax Revenue Division.
The branch is committed to providing clients with accessible, integrated, high quality services in the areas of registration, account management (i.e. returns, payments and adjustments), information and outreach, and monitoring. This includes establishing and maintaining tax and client rolls, processing tax returns and benefit payments, adjusting accounts and approving refunds as well as providing front-line services through counters, telephone and outreach programs.
