ONT-TAXS Advisory Group
As one of a number of steps to make it easier, simpler and more convenient for tax clients to comply with tax rules, the Ontario Ministry of Revenue is implementing ONT-TAXS - Ontario's Tax Services, which focuses on creating a modern, integrated tax administration.
ONT-TAXS includes a number of new initiatives such as one integrated system for tax services with new online services; one business number; and one toll-free phone number. The phased implementation of ONT-TAXS will be complete by 2009/10.
Membership
The ONT-TAXS Advisory Group consists of 28 members including tax practitioners; not-for-profit organizations; municipalities, universities, schools and hospitals; and large, medium and small business owners from various business sectors and geographical locations in Ontario.
