			<p>This Notice provides further information to help homebuyers and the housing industry prepare for the proposed Harmonized Sales Tax for Ontario (the HST) which, subject to legislative approval, would come into effect on July 1, 2010. The proposed HST is central to Ontario's comprehensive tax plan for job creation and economic growth.</p>
			<p>The proposed housing measures for the HST would help Ontarians buying new homes and support a strong housing industry.</p>]]></description>

            <title>Ontario Child Care Supplement for Working Families</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>To receive the Ontario Child Care Supplement for Working Families (OCCS), you have to:</p>
			<ul>
			<li>be a resident of Ontario</li>
			<li>receive the federal Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB)</li>
			<li>have children under age seven, born prior to July 1, 2009, and</li>
			<li>have the appropriate income level (minimum annual family earned income greater than $5,000), or qualifying child care expenses. There is a gradual decline in the OCCS amounts as income increases for families with net incomes over $20,000.</li>
			</ul>
			<p>The OCCS is paid to the same person who receives the federal CCTB. This is the person primarily responsible for the care and upbringing of the child. Although this person is usually the mother, it could be the father, a grandparent or guardian.</p>]]></description>
