A Tax Information Forum (TIF) is a FREE one-day event that provides you with an opportunity to access valuable information on key tax and business programs administered in Ontario.

At a TIF, you can:

• attend seminars
• visit information booths, and
• speak to knowledgeable specialists from:
  • Ministry of Finance
  • Canada Revenue Agency
  • Workplace, Safety and Insurance Board
  • Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
  • Service Canada
  • Canada Business Ontario
  • Local Business Enterprise Centres and/or Chambers of Commerce
    and more organizations

A business is typically defined as "small" if it produces goods and has fewer than 100 employees, or provides a service with fewer than 50 employees. Companies above that size, with up to 499 employees, considered medium-sized. The popular term "SME" (small and medium-sized enterprise) puts all of these businesses together in one group.
